The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the State Executive Committees of Adamawa and Ebonyi States in an effort to stem indiscipline.
Olisa Metuh, National Publicity Secretary of the party, disclosed the dissolution.

“In furtherance of our resolve to maintain discipline and run a responsible party, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party has in its emergency meeting, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 dissolved the State Executive Committees of Adamawa and Ebonyi States respectively for grave and inimical conducts, and acts capable of disorganizing and undermining good conduct of the party in these states,” the statement read.
Metuh added that the National Working Committee directed all members of the party in the affected states to disregard the publications of the results of the ward congresses made by the two state executives as "not authorized and coming from proper custody."
